Halloween Party

Eli was really excited to go "Trick-or-Treat" at his Halloween party and I was excited to go and participate in the fun. It was entertaining to see Eli play with his friends and see the fun things he has been learning. I took each kid one at a time in Cindy's laundry room and prepared them to hand out their candy to each child. Then each kid took turns knocking on the door and yelling "trick-or-treat!!!" Then they had a yummy snack of witch's brew and sang some Halloween songs. I am hoping I can get the video to upload tonight. In the mean time here are some pics..

Toast Mask

I was frantically getting ready for Eli's Halloween party at his little school and he surprised me with his home-made costume.....the toast mask. The best was when he pulled the toast away from his face it was all covered with butter and crumbs!

Pumpkin Patch

Eli in the pumpkin patch.

Some cool pumpkin finds.

Eli with the "scary pumpkin."

This experience involved me running around chasing Eli and keeping him out of the road and trying to keep him from kicking the farm dog and pumpkins.

Looks Like Fun

....But it wasn't. Usually Karl loves nothing more than to play in the dirt and bring it all in the house; however, when your water main breaks for the second time it loses it's thrill! Makes you appreciate your running water.

Snow in October

Eli and Bella were elated with the early snow storm. I wasn't because this meant I had to frantically harvest our beautiful garden.
